Mass NOW State President Highlights

2016

An Act for Pay Equity passes, becoming the most comprehensive pay equity legislation in the country for banning salary history to be used to determine compensation. Following this win, in 2017 Mass NOW embarked on a racial justice strategic visioning project with Judy Neufeld, which led to the co-creation of a series of Dismantling White Feminism workshops for our members with the Anti Racism Collaborative.

2018

In honor of Mass NOW’s 50th anniversary in 2018 Mass NOW brought back the tradition of consciousness raisings as a grassroots feminist strategy and has been hosting them in living rooms and community spaces across the Commonwealth ever since. Join a consciousness raising at our next Mass NOW Chapter meeting on the last Wednesday of every month.
