Massachusetts Commission on LGBTQ Youth
The Massachusetts Commission on LGBTQ youth advises others in state government on effective policies, programs, and resources for LGBTQ youth. Sasha joined the Commission in 2014, joined the leadership team in 2015 and served as Chair 2019-2021. In this role, she lead the Commission staff and 50 person Commission member body to hold community events and produce annual policy recommendations to the State Legislature and 18+ state agencies. Excitingly, the Commission has grown over the last fives and secured a $300,000 increase in the Commission’s FY21 budget.
